[Intl-stu] Full course of study requirements

The ISSS has begun to review the enrollment for all F-1 and J-1 international students as required by the Student Exchange Visitor Program and we are finding that a number of students are not enrolled correctly in a full course of study.

PLEASE NOTE that only ONE (1) online "W" course counts toward the full course of study.
*        A graduate international student will need to be enrolled in a minimum of nine (9) credit hours with at least six (6) hours face to face or web enhanced "E" courses.  The remaining 3+ hour may be online or face to face.
*        An undergraduate international student will need to be enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours with at least nine (9) hours face to face or web enhanced "E" courses.  The remaining 3+ hour may be online or face to face.

If you have a full-time graduate assistantship, are working on your thesis or dissertation, or in your final semester (still limited with your online courses) then you will need to submit the Reduced Course Load Form at www.tamuc.edu/isso<http://www.tamuc.edu/isso> and select Forms and Online Services.

ALL STUDENTS NEED TO REVIEW THE ATTACHED GUIDANCE TO ENSURE THEY ARE ENROLLED AS REQUIRED BY THE STUDENT EXCHANGE VISITOR PROGRAM.
