[Intl-stu] Important travel reminder

[International Students]

The university (and ISSS) will close at 12pm noon on Thursday, December 22nd for the holiday break.  We will reopen at 8am on Monday, January 2nd. The ISSS will offer a late I-20 Travel Signature walk-in day for students before the holiday break on December 20th from 1:30pm-4pm in Halladay 104.  Please note that these walk-in times are the only times the ISSS will process walk-in travel signature requests.  The I-20 travel signature (on 2nd page of I-20) is VALID FOR ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE SIGANTURE to re-enter the U.S.  To request a travel signature go to ISSS Travel Signature<http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/travelinformation.aspx> and follow the instructions under the I-20 Travel Signature section.

Attached with this email is the ISSS Travel Guidance Handout.  Please be sure to review this handout and also go to the Student Exchange Visitor Program's Travel FAQ<https://www.ice.gov/sevis/travel> page.  The ISSS strongly recommends that students traveling within the U.S. travel with all of their documents (I-20, passport, visa).
