As part of the 20th Annual Multicultural Festival activities, the ISSO
will host a parade of flags around campus from 11am-1pm on Tuesday,
April 1. The parade of flags is the beginning event for the activities
for the festival and is a great opportunity for students to represent
their country and promote the festival activities for the evening.

Students may register to carry their country's flag for the parade of
flags at
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/10Ifhw4xGX0SZikwIWd3uyrtLmaBmVukqib0fOwk
jUhU/viewform. Because the route for the parade of flags has lengthened
the past few years groups may want to consider having more than one
student commit to carry their flag. Students who would like to
participate but have class may request an email from the ISSO confirming
participation in the parade.

The deadline to register for the parade of flags is Wednesday, March 26
to ensure we will have your flag. The ISSO will provide all flags and
students will meet at the ISSO in Halladay 104 by 10:45 to pick up their
flag. The parade will begin at the Amphitheater and will conclude
between 12:45-1pm in front of the Rayburn Student Center.

We will also need volunteers to assist with drums and cymbals as well as
handing out promotional flyers during the parade. If you would like to
volunteer please email John.Jones at tamuc.edu.
