[Intl-stu] FW: Registration forms for Multicultural Festival on April 1

It is that time to begin signing up for the annual Multicultural
Festival on Tuesday, April 1 beginning at 5pm in the Rayburn Student
Center 2nd floor.  We had our largest attendance last year and this year
we are hoping to attract even more of the university and local community
to experience this great event.  

 

Attached with this email are the registration forms for the talent and
fashion show as well as the group registration form for the food and
display table.  All forms are due in the ISSO by Friday, March 21 at 5pm
and you may email them to intl.stu at tamuc.edu or drop them off in
Halladay 104.   Students interested in volunteering to help with the
festival preparation may email John.Jones at tamuc.edu.  

 

Details for each event are provided on the forms and we will also have 4
information sessions.  It is mandatory that groups have a representative
attend one (1) of the scheduled meetings.  For a schedule of the
meetings please see the attached Group Registration form and all
meetings will be located in BA221.  

 

If members of your group who participate in the festival need an excuse
for class on March 31st or April 1st please email John.Jones at tamuc.edu
by Friday, March 28 to request I contact the instructor for an excused
absence for participation.  I will send  an email or letter to the
instructor(s) requesting they excuse the student for the festival.   

 

As a reminder, the ISSO will host an information meeting on Monday,
February 24 at 4pm in BA 221 for groups planning to participate in the
festival.  There are four information sessions scheduled and al
participating groups are required to have a representative attend one of
the meetings.  Below is the schedule for the information sessions and
they will all be located in BA 221:

*	Monday, February 24 at 4pm
*	Friday, February 28 at 2pm
*	Thursday, March 6 at 4pm
*	Wednesday, March 19 at 4pm

The Multicultural Festival will be on Tuesday, April 1 beginning at 5pm
on the second floor of the Rayburn Student Center.
