[International Students]

The ISSO and Association of International Students will be sponsoring
the 18th Annual Multicultural Festival on Friday, March 30 beginning
with the parade of flags at 11am on the second floor of the student
center.  Previous emails had the parade of flags beginning at 10am which
is incorrect.  

 

All international students/groups are encouraged to participate in the
festival by registering to set-up a display/food table, participating in
the talent show or fashion show, or carrying your countries flag in the
parade of flags.  The deadline to sign up is Friday, March 9 and for
more information you can email John_Jones at tamu-commerce.edu.  

 

Students who wish to carry their countries flag will need to email
John_Jones at tamu-commerce.edu by Friday, March 9.  Flag carriers are
assigned on a first contact basis.  

 

The ISSO will sponsor a trip to Six Flags with a tentative date of
Saturday, April 14 for all currently enrolled F-1 and J-1 international
students and their dependents.  Sign up for the trip will be announced
after spring break via email and the tentative cost will be $40 per
person which includes transportation and ticket.  For more information
