[Intl-stu] Six Flags trip...need 50 students to go...sign up today!

An email was sent out yesterday regarding the cancellation of the Six
Flags trip that was scheduled on Saturday, April 21.  We have had about
20 students contact us to say they were going to sign up today or by
Wednesday. We will need 50 students to sign up by Wednesday, April 11 at
3pm in order to host the trip.   

 

If you are interested in going to Six Flags you will need to sign up at
the ISSO in Halladay 104 in person and pay the $50 registration fee by
3pm on Wednesday, April 11.  

 

We cannot extend the deadline later due to contractual obligations with
our transportation provider.  For more information see below:

 

The cost of the trip is $50 cash or money order only (no personal
checks) and is non-refundable/non-transferrable once a student signs up.


 

Dependents of A&M-Commerce international students (F-2) are welcome and
the cost will be $50 per dependent.  

 

The $50 registration fee includes one ticket for admission to Six Flags
(all rides included in price except go-carts and Dive Bomber Alley) and
transportation from Commerce to Six Flags and back to Commerce.
Students are required return on the bus to Commerce.  Students will need
to bring money to purchase food in the park during the day.  If the park
is closed for the day due to inclement weather then we will reschedule
the trip for Saturday, April 28.  

 

To sign up, students must come in person to the ISSO in Halladay 104 and
pay the $50 registration.  No phone calls, emails, or friends signing up
friends.  Please bring the exact amount ($50) to the ISSO when you come
to sign up as we will not have change.   

 

Students will need to be at the Performing Arts Center parking lot C
next to Gee Lake no later than 8am (do not be late) on the day of the
trip, Saturday, April 21.   For a map of campus please go to

We will spend the entire day at Six Flags (10:30am-10pm) and will depart
