[Intl-stu] Students take less than required hours

Just a reminder that all international students are required by USCIS to
register for a full course of study each fall and spring semester with
few exceptions. A full course of study is twelve (12) semester credit
hours for undergraduate students and nine (9) semester credit hours for
graduate students.

Only one (1) online course counts toward the full course of study
requirement and if you only have one (1) course to complete in your last
semester for graduation this course CANNOT be an online course.

Students in their last semester or who are working on a
thesis/dissertation may enroll in less than required hours. Students
with a full-time graduate assistantship may enroll in six (6) semester
credit hours. If you meet one of the exceptions for enrolling in less
than a full course of study you must complete the Report Less than
Required Hours form on our website at
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/international/forms.asp prior to the start
of the fall semester.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
