rnship/> . Please be sure to read over the internship website
thoroughly to determine your eligibility.

International students do not need the permission of the International
Student Services office (ISSO) to apply for the program but are required
to be authorized for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) employment
through the ISSO before employment with the internship may begin.

To be eligible for CPT employment you must meet the minimum requirements
below:

*	Be enrolled for one academic year (fall/spring, spring/fall)
*	You cannot hold a graduate assistantship and have CPT
*	You must be registered for the academic course for the
internship
*	Employment dates are specific to the dates of the academic
course
*	Attend a CPT appointment in person with an international advisor
at the ISSO and provide all required documentation

Once you have applied for and been approved for the internship and have
registered for the course you will need to visit the CPT website at
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/international/cpt.asp for the application
process with the ISSO. Please remember that international students
cannot work off-campus without the permission of an international
advisor at the ISSO and/or USCIS.
