[International Students]

The Department of Literature and Languages is proud to announce a new
service for International and Non-Native Speaker Students:

 

ESL Tutorial

A non-credit course to improve writing, reading, and speaking English
skills

 

Taught on campus TTH 2:00-3:00, but with individual meetings to be
scheduled at a later time (so that attending on TTH is not absolutely
necessary). Meetings will be in the Hall of Languages room 306.

 

The course has a $150 fee which covers all tuition, fees, and materials.
Students are responsible to acquire the textbooks. The fee must be paid
directly to the Department of Literature and Languages, in the Hall of
Languages, room 141.

 

The course will be taught by Ms. Frances Toki, an experienced ESL
teacher.

 

Students will meet in group settings and individually with the
instructor. Each student can target a specific area (writing, speaking,
reading, etc.) at the individual student's level. Tutoring on paper,
thesis and dissertation writing may be part of the course.
