MEMORANDUM

To: Texas A&M - Commerce Residence Hall Students

From: Dennis Koch, Interim Director of Residential Living and Learning

RE: U.S. Postal Service to Residence Halls

Please note that as of August 15, 2009 the department of Residential
Living and Learning at Texas A&M University-Commerce will cease U.S.
Postal service to the residence halls. This includes Smith Hall, Berry
Hall, Whitley Hall, all buildings in the West Hall area, Family Housing
area, New Pride Apartments, Sorority Halls, Women's F Hall, and Prairie
Crossing Apartments. The department will evaluate this decision in 18
months to determine if this is the best way to offer postal service to
our residents.

Students wishing to receive U.S. Postal delivery can obtain a P.O. Box
by going to either the post office on campus or in the town of Commerce
on Park Street. The cost of a P.O. Box is $22 for six months or $44 for
a year. Students will be able to access their mail 24 hours a day seven
days a week and will have a faster rate of time delivered than when it
came to the halls.

If you have any questions please contact Residential Living and Learning
at 903-886-5797.
