[Intl-stu] Picnic at the President's Home

[International Students]

Subject: Picnic at the President's Home, Tuesday, October 16, 2007, 6:00 pm

This is a reminder.

I have sent an e-mail on October 2 informing all international students
about the picnic at the President's Home.

The President and Mrs. McFarland are hosting a picnic in their backyard to
welcome all international students (new and current) to Fall 07.

This is an annual event given by the President and his wife to recognize and
welcome the international students of Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Free transportation with the university mini bus will be provided for
students who need a ride there and back.

International students who are not in classes should respond to this
invitation and show your appreciation by making effort to attending this
picnic.

Officers of the student organizations: African, AIS, Caribbean, CSA, ISA,
and TSA are strongly encouraged to attend to represent your organization.

Please contact the ISS office by calling or e-mail or come in person to sign
up to attend this picnic by 4pm today.

Students who need free transportation should meet in front of the BA
building (where the flags are) at 5:45 pm. on October 16.

Bring your camera; you can take pictures with the President and his wife.

Hope to see many of you there!
