If you want to take an all-day trip to Dallas but

transportation is a problem for you, then check out this

message and save these dates (October 27 and November 17).

 

FUN TRIPS TO DALLAS

 

We are planning two trips to Dallas and will provide

transportation to take you from Commerce campus to the

Garland DART Rail Station in the morning and return in the

late evening. The cost of transportation by university bus

from campus to Garland and back is $5 per person.

Upon arrival at Garland Dart Rail Station, you will have to

pay for the Dart tickets to take you anywhere in Dallas and

back to Garland. For the entire day, you will be free to

explore Dallas and go to places and events on your own. 

 

The trips are open to all students, faculty and staff of

Texas A&M University-Commerce.

 

Departure place/time from Commerce to Garland: Meet in front

of the West Halls Office at 8:30am. The buses will leave

Commerce at 9:00am sharp.

 

Return place/time from Garland: All passengers should meet

at the Garland Rail Station by 11:00pm, from where the

university buses will take you back to Commerce. 

 

You can sign-up and make payment (cash ONLY, $5.00) at the Candy

Corner, 2nd floor of the Memorial Student Center starting

October 15th. 

Deadline for sign-up and payment for the first trip is

October 24th.   

 

Please note that if not enough people sign-up to cover the

minimum expenses, the trip will have to be canceled and your

money will be refunded.

happening in Dallas on those dates, and Dallas Points of

Interest for your own exploration.
