SUBJECT: Multicultural Festival- Friday, April 6, 2007

 

Before all of you leave for the spring break, I just want to send a reminder
and ask you to be thinking about the Multicultural Festival- Friday, April
6, 2007 and the activities that you can participate in.

 

Flag Parade- The flag of your country will be provided for you, all you have
to do is to sign up to be the flag carrier in the parade. The flag parade
starts at 11am.

Food Sampling- You can sign up for this activity if you have enough people
from your country to help cook or buy ethnic food of your country. The
International Student Services will reimburse for the cost of food you
serve. Call Noi for details.

Display of Cultures, Arts, and Crafts - A table will be provided for you to
display anything that represents your country. Call Noi for details.

Talent Show - Any students who want to let your talent be seen, here is your
opportunity to do it. This is also a contest; winners will be recognized.
There is limited time slot on stage for this activity so I would encourage
those who are interested in this activity to sign up early before the slots
are filled. Time will only allow us to have only maximum of 10 acts on stage
from 12 noon to 1:30 PM. Call Brenda for details.
