Subject: University Basketball Games

I am and have been truly impressed with the increase in the number of
International students who came out to the University's basketball games on
Saturday and Monday nights. It has been the first in a long time that I
have seen such involvement in terms of sports within the International
community. I am truly pleased and hope that this trend will continue.

I do know that the majority of International students are also graduate
students who have classes in the evenings, but the basketball games usually
start at 6pm during the week and then the men's game begin at 8pm, ending at
around 10pm. If you have time and would love to support the school's
sporting events, remember that they are all free. All you have to do is
have your student ID. Sometimes there are some cool prizes to be won as
well.

I look forward to seeing more International students get involved on campus
and to those who came out - keep it up (especially to the Indian students
who came out in a large number). Please remember that we are here to get a
well rounded education, which involves being active outside of the
classroom.

Have a great day.

President,

Association of International Students (AIS)
