SUBJECT: REMINDER

 

1.	Deadline for Spring 2006 Graduation Application is February 10,
2006.

            You must apply for graduation before you can apply for post
completion OPT.

 

2.	Appointments for Spring 06 OPT application are open from February 20
through May 1, 2006.

OPT application filed after May 1, 2006 may not reach the Texas Immigration
Service Center in time and may be rejected. The Texas Service Center must
receive the Spring 06 OPT application on or before Friday, May 12, 2006.

 

3.	Spring 2006 transfer students who have not picked up the new I-20,
please do so ASAP to complete your transfer 

process. You are required by law to have a new I-20 from our university
within 15 days from the first class day.

 

4.	If your address has changed, you are required by law to report it
within 10 days. To report your current address to

5.	F-1 students must maintain required course load throughout the
semester (at least 9 hours for grads/ 12 hours for undergrads, with only ONE
web course). Dropping course at the end of the semester without
authorization from the International Student Adviser can cause you to be
out-of-status.
