Subject: Picnic at the President's Home

 

The President and his wife, Dr. & Mrs. McFarland, are hosting a welcome
picnic honoring new international students of Texas A&M-Commerce in the
backyard of their home on Wednesday, September 14, 6:00-7:30 pm.

New international students, current international students, sponsors,
volunteers and the staff of the ISSO (International Student Services Office)
are invited to attend.

 

If you want to attend this picnic, please contact the ISSO by phone or by
e-mail or in person no later than 5pm on Monday (9/12). We need to have an
estimated number of people attending in advance.

 

The President's Home is located on Highway 50 on the east side, opposite
side of Wal-Mart, within 2 miles distance from the main campus.

 

If you need a ride to the picnic, please contact the ISSO in advance. The
place to meet for a ride will be in the visitor parking lot, in front of the
Administration Building, where the flags are, at 5:30 pm on Wednesday.

 

We would appreciate some help from students with their own cars. If you are
able to help, please contact the ISSO and meet us at the visitor parking lot
at 5:30 pm.
