[GradFacultyStaff] TDS Updates to Resources

Hello!  On behalf of TDS and the Graduate School, I welcome you all back for the Fall 2021 semester!

This fall semester brings no big changes.  The Graduate School/TDS continues to limit its review to formatting, leaving style requirements to be monitored by the students' advisors.  In that regard, I would like to provide you with the most recent versions of the Thesis and Dissertation Formatting Guide and the thesis/dissertation template.  I have made no significant changes to either documents other than updating language and correcting discrepancies and inconsistencies.  However, the following helpful information has been added to the Thesis and Dissertation Formatting Guide:

*         An Appendix A, which provides a sample vita so students no longer have to ask for an example.
*         More detailed instructions for the formatting of tables and figures with examples provided in a new Appendix B.

An Appendix has also been added to the thesis/dissertation template that provides a template for students to use when they must number landscape pages.

I encourage you to review these documents and let me know of any questions or concerns you may have.

We are still in the process of developing an online submission process, and we are hoping to complete the project by the end of this calendar year.
