Explore the World of Research with SAGE Research Methods

Conducting original research serves as a cornerstone of graduate studies. As you transition your academic pursuits along the researcher path, there are several components you will need to develop and implement to establish a successful research process. Whether you're developing a proposal for your first research project, in the throes of your thesis or dissertation, or even preparing your work for publication and dissemination, SAGE Research Methods (SRM) is here to help you along every step in your research journey. SRM provides access to a wealth of materials designed to help learn, explore, and apply methods across the social sciences and STM fields. With access to 1,000+ books, hundreds of videos, journal articles, practice datasets, and more, prepare to dive into research through this incredible platform to expand your researcher toolkit.

* As a result of this session, you will be able to:

* Uncover the scope of SRM content and application for each type

* Search for information across disciplines that apply to your research need

* Create a profile to save searches and build customized lists of content based on your searches

* Navigate the four SRM research tools to ensure successful application of your how-to questions

This 1-hour session is offered exclusively for Texas A&M Commerce graduate school students and faculty. It will be led by SAGE Publications librarian and resource educator, Vanessa Rusch, MLIS, and is coordinated through the Velma K Waters Library and the Graduate School. All registrants will receive a recording of the session, and live attendees are encouraged to bring their research questions with them. Please extend this invitation to your peers and colleagues to join us!
