[TAMUC Doctoral Cohorts/AERA Membership Invitation] Join AERA!

[Julia Ballenger]

Hello TAMUC Doctoral Students,

Happy New Year! The American Educational Research Association (AERA) Graduate Student Cohort Program presents opportunities for students pursuing their doctoral degrees to increase their engagement in the education research community.

Dr. Timothy Letzring, Dean of the College of Education & Human Services at Texas A&M University-Commerce, is partnering with AERA to offer you a reduced fee for the 2015 membership year. Please see the attached documents explaining the benefits for AERA Graduate Student Cohort members and directions for participating in the AERA Cohort Program.

I have presented at AERA and served as an officer and member of several special interest groups and divisions for the last 10 years. We are excited about this partnership opportunity. We know that your engagement with the activities and opportunities associated with membership in AERA will benefit your doctoral and professional work. I recommend that you take advantage of this opportunity.

See attachments. Please call or email me if you have questions.
