Good afternoon,

 

A few months ago I sent out an email regarding a research symposium for
undergraduate and graduate students.  I want to make you aware of some
updates and changes and distribute the new flier.

 

The symposium date has changed from October 27th to November 3rd.  The
good news is that this is a week before The A&M Pathways Symposium so
could provide a great way to fine tune the presentation skills.

 

Secondly despite the fact that this symposium is being held at th4e UNT
Health Science Center it will be open to all sciences.  Invitations to
the symposium may be pared down based upon the response to abstract
submission.

 

Lastly there was an inquiry about covering costs of travel for the
symposium.  I am pleased to say that since our school must travel the
furthest distance the UNTHSC graduate school has rented a van for us.
Breakfast and lunch will also be covered.

 

Hope you all take advantage of this opportunity for your students and
help me grow this symposium.
