What is happening?

Cascade CMS server Version 7.0.6 will be upgraded to Version 7.0.7

 

When is it happening?

Monday, January 28, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Central Time. 

 

Services/Applications Impacted:

CMS Cascade production server

Why is it happening?

This upgrade will resolve the 'Make Publisher smooth' issues. This
change will focus on the bellow points.

 

Issues Resolved

*	[CSI-426 <https://hannonhill.jira.com/browse/CSI-426> ] - Web
Services elements do not properly match WSDL
*	[CSI-481 <https://hannonhill.jira.com/browse/CSI-481> ] - Search
results out of order
*	[CSI-488 <https://hannonhill.jira.com/browse/CSI-488> ] -
Default Dynamic Metadata added after Asset is created requires user to
resubmit Asset
*	[CSI-489 <https://hannonhill.jira.com/browse/CSI-489> ] -
Page-level region no block/no format assignments lost when returning
back to Page Edit
*	[CSI-497 <https://hannonhill.jira.com/browse/CSI-497> ] - Web
Services: Search operation returns invalid values in Path property
*	[CSI-498 <https://hannonhill.jira.com/browse/CSI-498> ] - Race
condition can cause publisher to never finish a job
*	[CSI-501 <https://hannonhill.jira.com/browse/CSI-501> ] -
Chooser window search does not return any results for choosers that only
allow assets from the current Site

Services Not Impacted:

Any other service will not be impacted.

 

What you need to do:

Developers and CMS Editors will not have access to 
http://cms.tamuc.edu:8080/login.act
<http://cms.tamuc.edu:8080/login.act>  during the maintenance window. 

A follow up email confirmation will be sent when the maintenance update
is successful.
