[CBW_Exec] Executive Board Updates

Greetings all!

This is really wonderful news. And thanks to tweets from Marisa and Sara--
and the CBW live blogging-- those of us who couldn't attend the workshop
yesterday had a chance to be virtually present. What a difference
technology makes!

The term I couldn't think of Wednesday night is: "ability to benefit." This
was a federal category for students who could attend college without having
earned either the GED or a high school diploma if they could demonstrate
"ability to benefit" from college." As of July 1, 2012, that category will
be eliminated, as will federal financial aid for students in that category.

Here are links to Pearson's involvement in the GED.

Have a good SIG tonight -- and enjoy the rest of the conference!

Peace and best,

Susan
