just got the $500 CBW Fellowship money order for Ann and will bring it to the SIG, so Sonya can give it to Ann.

Just an FYI: this leaves CBW with $399.74 in our bank account (so if we continue the Fellowship next year, it will have to be a lower amount than $500).

Hi, Sonya and all,

In the past I've brought a money order to Cs and Sonya, you gave it to the person who won the Fellowship.  Want to do the same this year?  Or, I'm glad to mail it to Ann ahead of time.  Let me know what works best.

The awardee is Ann McNair, who is the Basic Writing Coordinator and an Instructor in the Department of English at the University of Southern Mississippi.  Please know that there were several excellent applications this year, but the Fellowship Committee was particularly impressive.  I've notified Ann, and she has already confirmed her acceptance.

I'd also like to thank the reviewers for their dedication and work (especially when these applications come in at the end of one semester and need to be reviewed over a holiday/winter break and at the start of a new semester--a busy time!).
