[CBW_Exec] Need Your Input on 3 Items

Howdy everyone!
 
I have no insights or preferences to share on items 1 and 2, and I'm happy to review proposals in November.  
 
On another (not altogether unrelated) note, I'm attaching the call for fellowship applications here. Please distribute widely.  FYI: it's a pdf file because, for some reason, the new CBW logo doesn't 'stick' in any other format I save in (it disappears in Word and Publisher). Weird, I know.  I'll be asking for volunteers to review fellowship applications in short order.  Thanks in advance for considering it!

i Everyone,


Hope this finds you well and enjoying the fall. Hannah and I wanted to check in on three upcoming issues.


1. Do you have a preferred time/date for the exec committee meeting? Let's try for a date/time. If this doesn't work, I'll create a doodle for us to share out CCCC calendars. I know it's early to do this, but I'd like everyone to get this on their calendar now so that we can schedule our other CCCC's meetings around it.


2.  We are moving ahead with the reception. Hannah and I thought that one interesting possibility might be to host it Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. right after the CBW workshop. What do you think about that? Or, are there reasons why that isn't a good idea?


3.  We will be sending out the open call solicitation for the CBW workshop shortly. Once that call goes out, we need volunteers to review the proposals. You would be reviewing early in November with about a 2 week turn around time.  Any volunteers?


Are there other things you'd like Hannah & I to be aware of right now and to be putting on our collective agenda over the next few months?


Also, I'm attaching minutes from the Executive Board meeting at CCCC. I think I forgot to send those around. :-)
