[CBW_Exec] Other thoughts from the EB on CBW Mission Statement?

All,

I also agree with Shannon. As people suggest revisions, however, please know
that as we were drafting, we decided to avoid the label "basic writer"
because of its essentialist connotations as a fixed category. Instead, we're
looking for some version of "student(s) enrolled in Basic Writing" -- an
existential position rather than a permanent identity.
