[CBW_Exec] CBW Exec Board meeting Agenda +

Hi, all,

News about me: we moved from Tempe to Flagstaff, AZ, where I now direct the University Writing Program at Northern Arizona University. The climate in Flagstaff and at NAU is much better, in many ways. I get to train and mentor about 50 wonderful Teaching Assistants, several of whom are presenting at Cs.

Professionally, Chitra Duttagupta and I - and with the help of about 100 others, including many of you all - have revised and just sent the 3rd edition of the Bedford Bibliography for Teachers of Basic Writing off to Bedford / St. Martin's. The last I heard they were planning an August 2009 publication date, but I'm trying to confirm that so I can update you at the Board Meeting. I can report on our finances, too, and will bring the INNY plaque and the money order for the Leslie Nortis to the SIG.

Also, Duane, Barry, and I are about done revising the McGraw-Hill Guide to Writing, and the 2nd edition of that text is due out early next year.

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all soon,

gg
