[CBW_Exec] Facebook group page for CBW

[Susan Bernstein]

Greetings, everyone, from snowy Queens.
In regards to Hannah's call for more visibility, I would like to create a
Facebook group page for CBW and BWe as soon as possible before CCCC so that
we can post upcoming events, calls for submission, and so on.

CCCC and NCTE have Facebook group and there are other group pages for
several other organizations (formal and informal) associated with Rhetoric
and Composition.

Here are some sample rhet/comp pages:
CCCC: http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=19377129160
NCTE: http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=20657929304
KAIROS: http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6475584941

There is also a Facebook page for Basic Writing, but it is not affiliated
with CBW and it is not generally active. You can find that page here:
http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=11345149681

So here are my questions:

Does anyone have any objections to CBW creating a Facebook page?

If not, do I have the Board's approval to create this page?

AND-- if so-- would anyone else be interested in co-administering the group
with me?

Thanks and see you next month,

Susan
