Greetings, everyone, from snowy Queens.<div><br></div><div>In regards to Hannah's call for more visibility, I would like to create a Facebook group page for CBW and BWe as soon as possible before CCCC so that we can post upcoming events, calls for submission, and so on. </div>
<div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>CCCC and NCTE have Facebook group and there are other group pages for several other organizations (formal and informal) associated with Rhetoric and Composition.</div><div>
<br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>Here are some sample rhet/comp pages:<br></div><div>CCCC: <a href="http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=19377129160">http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=19377129160</a><br class="webkit-block-placeholder">
</div><div>NCTE: <a href="http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=20657929304">http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=20657929304</a><br></div><div>KAIROS: <a href="http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6475584941">http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6475584941</a><br class="webkit-block-placeholder">
</div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>There is also a Facebook page for Basic Writing, but it is not affiliated with CBW and it is not generally active. You can find that page here: <a href="http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=11345149681">http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=11345149681</a></div>
<div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>So here are my questions:</div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>Does anyone have any objections to CBW creating a Facebook page?</div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder">
</div><div>If not, do I have the Board's approval to create this page? </div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>AND-- if so-- would anyone else be interested in co-administering the group with me?</div>
<div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>Thanks and see you next month,</div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>Susan</div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder">
