[bsw] Human Services Networking Event - March 8!!

Dear students and colleagues - below is a flyer about an event hosted by
Texas A&M University-Commerce Career Services. We think this will be a
GREAT way to network across the social work and other human services
community!  With pending funding cuts everywhere, we ALL need to keep
our networks going!! J  So, please plan to attend this event.  

 

MARCH IS SOCIAL WORK MONTH!!  Rather than inviting our social work
organizations to a formal "information fair", we think this will be a
fun way to get information about your agency to perspective field
students and future employees.  For students, this is an excellent
opportunity to find out what agencies are all about.  BUT IT WILL ONLY
WORK IF YOU COME!!  Bring business cards and yourselves - no muss, no
fuss!  It would be a shame for the field of Social Work to be
underrepresented with this has been very successful in other academic
disciplines across campus!!

 

Please RSVP by March 1 if you plan to attend - and please indicate if
you're a student or what organization you'll be representing (or both).
And, it's FREE!! J  Look forward to seeing you March 8!!
