<li>The Regents Award recognizes faculty whose careers exemplify achievement in teaching, research, scholarship and service.
<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Careful consideration is given to nominees whose sustained contributions have produced long-term values and whose work reflects distinction beyond routine expectations.
<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span><o:p></o:p></li><li>Award recipient will receive a commemorative medallion and cash stipend.<o:p></o:p></li><li>Nominee will be a full-time, tenured, faculty member who has held the rank of professor for not less than five consecutive years within an A&M System university or agency.<br style="mso-special-character:

<li>The William L. Mayo Professorship Award recognizes a faculty member who epitomizes the goals of Professor Mayo’s motto: “Ceaseless Industry, Fearless Investigation, Unfettered Thought, and Unselfish Service to Others.” This award will be presented to an
 exceptional faculty member who has distinguished record of performing in an outstanding manner, primarily in teaching, but also in scholarship and service to the university community.<o:p></o:p></li><li>Award recipient will receive a commemorative medallion and cash stipend.<o:p></o:p></li><li>Nominee will be a full-time, tenured, faculty member, holding the rank of professor, not on an administrative appointment.<br style="mso-special-character:line-break">
