<p class="MsoNormal">As we approach fall, it's important to be mindful of the potential for cold and flu season. Protecting our health and the health of our community remains a top priority.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Here are a few key steps we can take to minimize the impact of both cold and flu:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">1.   Practice Good Hygiene: Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use hand sanitizer when soap isn't available and avoid touching your face.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2.   Stay Home When Sick: If you're feeling unwell, even with mild symptoms, it's crucial to stay home to prevent the spread of illnesses.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">3.   Boost Your Immunity: Maintain a healthy lifestyle with proper nutrition, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep to strengthen your immune system.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">4.    Consider Getting Vaccinated: Vaccines are available at most pharmacies; in addition, flu shots will be available at the Student Health Center for students, faculty and staff, which may be covered by insurance or as an out-of-pocket
 fee of $25.00.            <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">5.   Stay Informed: Stay up to date on the latest health guidelines and recommendations from reliable sources.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">By proactively following these guidelines, we can create a healthier and safer campus environment for everyone.   Please note that the university will provide personal protective equipment upon request.
