First, Dr. Melanie Mitchell of the Sante Fe Institute will discuss some of her well-known work in artificial intelligence systems and answer questions from the task force on Open AI and its incorporation into education. Max Petrenko, Principal Research Scientist
at Amazon, will then talk about the industry’s Large Language Models and their inherent abilities, limitations, and risks. Finally, TAMUC’s Dr. Christian Hempelmann, Director of the Ontological Semantic Technology Laboratory, will present “</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">How
