<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">A&M-Commerce Administration has received the attached request for nominations for “Piper Professors of 2022.” The University can nominate only one faculty member
each year for the award. The Faculty Senate Awards committee will manage the collection and review of applications for faculty members who wish to apply.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">The Faculty Senate awards committee will make a recommendation to the full Senate regarding which application should go forward from the University. The full Senate
will then make a recommendation to Provost Humphreys. </span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Each application will be forwarded to the Provost’s office for consideration. The Provost will then make a recommendation to the President
of the University, who will then make the University’s recommendation to the Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation.<span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The deadline for submission to the Piper Foundation is November 19, 2021. The President’s Office has requested nomination material by November 8, 2021. Application material should be submitted
