<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The Division of Academic Affairs is pleased to introduce Dr. Dan Su as the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness & Research effective February
1, 2019.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Dr. Su brings a wealth of experience to Institutional Effectiveness & Research. Dr. Su spent 5 years teaching Chinese high school students English after
she got her BA in English Education. In 2002, she came to the U.S. to pursue her doctoral degree in Educational Psychology at College of Education at Texas Tech University. During her doctoral study in Educational Psychology, she explored the educational theories,
research methodologies, statistics, which shaped her focus in quantitative research and influenced her professional path in choosing institutional effectiveness and research. In the last 9 years, Dr. Su has worked in one private college and three public universities
in Texas. Through different positions in IER, she expanded her vision and abilities to provide university executives, faculty and staff with accreditation guideline, assessment, measurement methodology training, strategic planning and analysis of institutional
and comparative data, in support of institutional goals, such as: student success key performance measures, accreditation, formula funding, fiscal resources, decision-making, policy examination and formation etc.
