<p class="MsoNormal">In gradebook settings for your online courses, please note that for students to see their overall
<b><i>current</i></b> grade for the course, your gradebook should be set to use the “Calculated Final Grade” option. Without this setting, students will only see individual graded items, but they won’t see their overall current grade.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The term “Final Grade” is a bit confusing here- it doesn’t pertain only to a setting applied at the very end of the semester. More accurately, it lets students see their current grade standing in the course.
