<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Cambria","serif"">The spring 2017 Start of Term (SOT) survey closed out at midnight on 1 February 2017. Individual instructors are now able to access the survey results from their individual
courses in the same fashion as they currently access the SRTEs from their courses. Each instructor can locate the Start of Term results for each course by navigating to your Pearson LearningStudio course shell from the spring 2017 W1 term, select “Course
Admin,” and then “Survey Results” from the menu.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Cambria","serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Cambria","serif"">This spring (2017) almost 7,300 student took advantage of this opportunity to tell their instructors about their Start of Term experience. This represents a 52% response
rate from the 14,092 surveys opportunities afforded to students taking a full, 16-week online course. An aggregated department report will be made available to Department Heads shortly.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN" style="font-family:"Cambria","serif"">Conducted at the start of each fall and spring semester, the Start of Term (SOT) online course survey serves to identify students’ attitudes, values, and beliefs
about education and to help faculty address them effectively. The SOT also amplifies the opportunities for constructing meaningful dialogues between instructors and students, while elevating the campus’ climate of mutual respect.
