<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">This is a final reminder for submissions of nominees for the 2016-2017 Faculty Senate Annual Faculty Awards. Nominations for deserving
faculty should be submitted to your department’s Faculty Senator. Each department’s Senator can submit one nominee per award and must do so by the
</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">February 10, 2017 deadline</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">. All nominations must include each nominee’s
</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">full name, academic department, and full e-mail address. Faculty Senate Awards Committee Chair, Dr. Benjamin May, will both receive the nominations as well as answer any questions you may have about the awards.
Dr. May can be contacted by e-mail, <a href="mailto:Benjamin.may@tamuc.edu">Benjamin.may@tamuc.edu</a>, or phone, (903) 886-5512. Once the ballots have been collected, the committee will contact nominees and ask them to provide supporting documentation for
the committee’s review. Upon review and after careful deliberation, the committee will make one recommendation per award to the full Faculty Senate for approval. These award recipients will be announced at the Faculty Award Luncheon on April 5<sup>th</sup>,
