Alford, Ms. Tina Clark, Dr. Donna Dunbar-Odom, Ms. Susan Glaeser, Dr. John

the Department of Literature & Languages for an 18-hour graduate
certificate in <i><span style='font-style:italic'>Film Studies</span></i>. A
motion to approve the certificate was made by Dr. Alford and seconded by Dr.
Travis. The Council approved the new graduate certificate.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Associate Vice President presented a program on student demographics and
student satisfaction. Ms. Forbes presented a draft of a survey “Graduate
Students’ Level of Utilization and Satisfaction with University
Services” and asked for comments and suggestions. Dr. McBroom encouraged
council members to make sure that courses in their department have good
learning outcomes.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
