The A&M-Commerce Faculty Mini-grant Program offers support for research
and creative activities. Its primary purpose is to provide seed money to
attract extramural funding or to assist faculty members and professional staff
with taking initial steps toward major research projects and creative
activities. Mini-grants of up to $600 are available to full-time faculty

expected outcome and how the funds will be utilized.

Funds can be used for almost any aspect of a research project or creative
activity, except to supplement salaries. Purchase of equipment, printing,
postage, data searches, data collection and student wages are among the
services for which mini-grant funds can be used.

Interested individuals should submit a 1-2 page proposal describing the
project and project budget. Also required is a 2-page curriculum vita, which
should contain a bibliographical essay or bibliographic information, including

proposed work. Limit CV to two pages, which contain appropriate information to
demonstrate qualifications to carry out proposed research.
