graduate student recruiting event) is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at
7:00 p.m. in the Board Room of our <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Metroplex</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Center</st1:PlaceType> in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City
 w:st="on">Mesquite</st1:City></st1:place> (please see attached flyer).&nbsp; For
the past two years, I encouraged each department to be represented at this
event.&nbsp; Given the limited turnout of prospective students at both years&#8217;
events, I am concerned that some folks may make the trip over there for no real
benefit to their programs.&nbsp; Hence, you are welcome to attend, if you can,
but you should not feel obligated to do so.&nbsp; In addition to our <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Graduate</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType
 w:st="on">School</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> staff, we plan to have selected
staff from other offices available to assist in answering questions of
