font-family:Arial'>Every two years our University participates in the National
Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) in conjunction with the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceType
w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Indiana</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>.
The sample population is restricted to freshmen and seniors. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>The survey was launched a few weeks ago and the Office of
Institutional Research was contacted this morning by the NSSE team with
concerns of our response rate being very low.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>We would like to ask that each faculty member encourage
their freshmen and seniors to check their Leo e-mail accounts and respond to
the survey if they are part of the sample. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
