four years of service, Dr. Joann DiGeorgio-Lutz has indicated that she will
step down as the <st1:PersonName w:st="on">Honors</st1:PersonName> Director
effective at the end of the fall 2005 semester. I would like to take this
opportunity to thank Dr. DiGeorgio-Lutz for the outstanding work she has done
in this capacity. She has made a difference in many students' lives and
has fostered a climate of high expectations and fine achievement. </span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>It
is now time for me to solicit nominations for her replacement. The individuals
chosen as finalists for the position will be asked to participate in an Open
Faculty Forum before a final selection of the <st1:PersonName w:st="on">Honors</st1:PersonName>
Director is made. Those wishing to be considered for the position should
provide a letter of interest, a letter from their department heads about their
qualifications, and the names and contact information for three campus
