</span>It is worthwhile to try to identify beforehand how your initiative
corresponds with federal priorities.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
</span>The System is actively pursuing national laboratory management
opportunities.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>We believe this will
open up more research opportunities for the System.<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>The process to obtain federal resources
to build physical facilities is especially lengthy and in recent years,
Congress has funded fewer and fewer bricks and mortar projects.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
