This is a reminder about Spring 2026 Convocation next week.

SPRING 2026 CONVOCATION
Wednesday, March 25, 2026
11 a.m. to noon
(Classes on the main campus will be cancelled during this hour.)

Faculty, Staff and Students,

This is a reminder that Spring 2026 Academic Convocation will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026, to honor Dr. Tracy Henley, Regents Professor and Professor in the Department of Psychology and Special Education. Dr. Henley became the university's most recent recipient of the highest academic distinction bestowed upon faculty by The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents when named "Regents Professor" for academic year 2024-2025.

The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon in the Ferguson Auditorium. All classes and offices on the main campus will be cancelled/closed from 11 a.m. to noon to allow students, faculty and staff to attend. Faculty will participate in full academic regalia and gather for the processional at approximately 10:45 a.m. in the main hallway of the Ferguson Building. Faculty who are unable to attend are to consult their respective dean in advance.

Please mark this special date on your calendar to honor both Dr. Henley's career and the history of our university by joining in this celebration.
