Welcome back to ETAMU for the Spring 2026 semester! We hope you had a restful break.

This spring the Faculty Success Center and the Honors College will be hosting a number of events for faculty, staff, and students. A list of January events is below along with registration details. Don't worry if you lose this email. We will send out reminders as the month roles out.

January 15 at 1PM in BA343: Lion's Share. Join other ETAMU faculty and staff for a chance to socialize, talk with your colleagues, and share your ups and downs. The Lion's Share will be a weekly one-hour event that will be scheduled at different times and days to try to accommodate as many people as possible. During this first meeting we will talk about how we want to structure this time.

January 20 at 10AM in BA343: Navigating Part 2. We will continue the Navigating Conversations the Faculty Success Center and Katelyn Severance held last fall. Ms. Severance will discuss Texas A&M system regulations and be available for questions. After her presentation we will use the remaining time to discuss, brainstorm, and otherwise understand what these new regulations mean to faculty in their classrooms and research agendas.
