RE:                  Call for Nominations for 2024-2025 Chancellor’s Academy of Teacher Educators

Colleges, departments, program directors, committees, faculty, staff, and students are invited to submit nominations for the 2024-2025 Chancellor’s Academy of Teacher Educators (CATE) Award. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

Nominations must be submitted to the selection committee via email to ProvostFellows at tamuc.edu<mailto:ProvostFellows at tamuc.edu> to no later than Friday, September 27, 2024 .
The purpose of this award is to recognize both individuals and teams who are making contributions to the quality, innovation, and continuous improvement in teacher preparation.

The nominations can be for an individual or a team. The team can consist of up to five individuals. The team should consist primarily of faculty, although may include an administrator or staff member if they played a essential and engaged role as a team member. Nominations of exceptional distinguished faculty (regardless of specialty or rank) or team is encouraged.

The committee cannot accept nominations after the September 27 deadline. Incomplete nominations will not be considered. For more information regarding this year’s nominations, please refer to the attached guidelines.
