The Honors College is proud to announce the Challenge Grant initiative for the 2025-2026 academic year. The initiative offers competitive funding to support East Texas A&M faculty and staff as they create or enhance innovative learning opportunities for honors students. These funds may be used to directly support student activities or to indirectly support faculty and staff participation in professional development, curriculum/co-curriculum design, or other related activities.
All full-time faculty and staff involved in Honors educational programming at the university are eligible to apply. Both individual and team applications are welcome. It is anticipated that funding awards will range from $1,000 to $8,000.
For more information, see the complete call for proposals (www.tamuc.edu/honorsfunding<http://www.tamuc.edu/honorsfunding>).
The college will be hosting two information sessions on December 10 at 11:30 AM and January 22 at 3:00 PM.
The priority application deadline is January 24, 2025. Final application deadline is March 3. Funds will be available beginning in May Mini, 2025 and must be spent during the academic year.
