REMINDER: ACUE Registration is Open
It's not too late to enroll in ACUE 2023-2024 courses!

Dear Texas A&M University-Commerce faculty,

Texas A&M University-Commerce is excited to offer faculty two opportunities to elevate your teaching practice through a program with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE<https://acue.org>).

This email is an invitation to participate this fall in the following ACUE programming:

Effective Online Teaching Practices (full course: 25 weeks)
Through this experience, you'll learn about and implement a series of research-based teaching practices shown to improve student outcomes in online courses. This program is professionally facilitated and will be delivered online with a cohort of your colleagues.

Upon course completion, participants will earn a nationally recognized Certificate in Effective College Instruction, the only college teaching credential endorsed by the American Council on Education<https://www.acenet.edu/Pages/default.aspx> (ACE).

  *   This course begins August 28, 2023.
  * Cohorts typically complete one module per week over 25 weeks.
  * Internal ACUE research indicates that a faculty member spends approximately 2-3 hours of activity per week, on average, in the course.

Register Now! We have a limited number of seats available! Interested faculty are encouraged to apply by August 1, 2023 by registering at the ACUE and Texas A&M University-Commerce portal. <https://portal.acue.org/pages/tamus-commerce>

Fostering a Culture of Belonging (8-weeks), a newly updated micro-credential course from ACUE, will guide course-takers on how to prioritize equity and inclusion in their work with students and colleagues. In addition to highlighting practices that can be used by instructional staff, this newly updated offering adds practices, videos, and resources that non-instructional staff and campus leaders can learn and implement allowing them to contribute to a culture of belonging across their academic institutions.
