We have several sessions scheduled for October 24-28 for learning various tools in the myLeo Online LMS.

Ally (Accessibility Checker) Training
Improve universal design in your course and help make your LMS digital content more accessible with Blackboard Ally.
The training will cover:

1.    The Course Level Accessibility Report

2.    The Different Levels of Accessibility

3.    How to remediate content with accessibility issues.

myLeo Online Instructor Resources-Prepping Your Online Course for the New Term
The Prepping Your Course for the New Term will address the following items:

  1.  Engaging and Easy to Navigate D2L Course/s Home Page
  2.  Use the Module Template
  3.  Use D2L Syllabus Template
  4.  Create a Start Here module
  5.  Create Course Resources module
  6.  Use New Assignment option to create Assignments (Only Visible to Instructor)
  7.  Use New Discussion option to create Discussions (Visible to Classmates and Instructor)
  8.  Enter Quizzes into desired module
  9.  Add Extended Time
     10. Set up Gradebook

This training provides information for making an engaging and easy to navigate course for all of your students.

myLeo Online Workshop- Gradebook Setup
Get to know the ins and outs of myLeo Online's Grades tool in this targeted session. Bring a copy of your syllabus to get hands-on experience building out a gradebook in the new LMS! We'll learn how to create categories and grade items as well as use the gradebook Set-up Wizard to create the gradebook for your next course.

Zoom Basics Training
This session will show you how to create and host meetings as well as screen sharing, privacy settings/passwords and best practices for use with D2L.
