[VPAAEtal] Winter Mini and Spring Semester Schedule

This is a reminder of the changes to the Winter Mini and Spring Semester schedule.

Winter Mini:  Begins Monday, December 20 and ends Tuesday, January 11.

Spring Semester (16-week):  Begins Wednesday, January 12 and ends Tuesday, May 3.  Wednesday, May 4 through Friday, May 6 are designated study days.  Finals begin Monday, May 9 and conclude Friday, May 13.  No finals may be given prior to May 9.  University policy requires faculty to offer a final or final assignment and meet their courses during the assigned final exam period.  Spring Break and Graduation dates are unchanged.


Shortened Spring Graduate Semester (14-week):  Most graduate courses begin Monday January 31 and continue through Tuesday, May 3.  These follow the same requirements as the Spring Semester (above) regarding study days, exam schedules, and exam requirements.  Spring Break and Graduation dates are unchanged.   Consult your department head to confirm your department's participation in this term.

No other terms were affected by the change in dates to these three.  Please be aware that the University has far more academic terms than those presented.  If you have questions about your particular department or program, contact your department head.
